Fixer IN Nepal

What We Provide

At FixerInNepal, we handle all filming permits required to shoot legally in Nepal. From government approvals to location-specific permissions, we make sure everything is in place so your production can move forward without delays.

We Provide:

1.Film Permit Management

We manage the complete process required to legally film in Nepal. All productions must obtain official approval from the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology Nepal, and international crews are required to apply through a licensed local coordinator. As your local partner, we handle the full application process, eliminating the complexity of dealing with government systems.

2.Documentation & Application Support

A successful permit application depends on accurate documentation. We assist in preparing and organizing all required materials, including scripts or synopsis, filming schedules, location details, crew lists, passport copies, and equipment lists. Our team ensures everything is properly reviewed and submitted to avoid delays or rejections.

3.Location-Specific Permits

Different filming locations in Nepal require additional permissions beyond the central permit. We secure all necessary approvals based on your shooting locations, including permits from the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation Nepal for protected areas and the Department of Archaeology Nepal for heritage and cultural sites. We also arrange special permits for restricted and high-altitude regions.

4.Drone & Special Equipment Approvals

Drone filming and specialized equipment require separate clearances from multiple authorities. We coordinate these approvals, ensuring your equipment is legally authorized and compliant with Nepal’s regulations, so you can operate without interruption.

5.Liaison Officer Coordination

International productions are required to have a government-appointed liaison officer during filming. We handle the coordination, logistics, and communication ensuring smooth collaboration between your crew and local authorities throughout the production.

6.Timeline & Process Management

Film permits in Nepal typically take around 5–10 working days, depending on the scope of the project. We actively manage timelines, follow up with relevant departments, and expedite approvals wherever possible to keep your production on track.

7.End-to-End Compliance & Support

From initial consultation to final approval, we provide complete support throughout the process. We ensure full legal compliance while also advising on costs, regulations, and equipment import procedures such as ATA Carnet giving you clarity and confidence before your shoot begins.
